Mary and Jerry Goldberg
Mary and Jerry Goldberg built their homestead and established Creek Colony Ranch in Rosenberg, Texas in 1995. Both Mary and Jerry have a passion for horses and riding. In 2002, they launched Sport Horse Sales of Texas, L.L.C. to focus on the breeding and training of Friesians, Holsteiners, Hanoverians, Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods. Their 37 acre, gated property is securely fenced to protect both the horses of boarders and the owners’ breeding mares and three stallions.
Mary is an avid rider with a lifetime of experience in the show ring with cutting horses. For the past 10 years she has focused on the art of dressage and currently competes at Level 3. She is the owner and manager of Sport Horse Sales of Texas at Creek Colony and has personally helped to deliver all of the foals born at the ranch. Mary takes a personal interest in the health and well-being of all the horses on her ranch, whether they are hers or those of her boarders. Jerry also loves to trail ride and is a big fan of hunter-jumpers and cross-country riding.
Mary and Jerry have created a beautiful, special place for the breeding and training of horses and for the boarding of these magnificent animals.
For boarders, Sport Horse Sales of Texas offers their horses spacious, well-kept stalls, ample feed, hay and water, daily turnout in their spacious paddocks and the opportunity for daily training on the German-style walker. The spacious, mirrored covered arena provides a quiet space for focused schooling in many riding disciplines.
Several American and German breeding associations hold inspections each year at Sport Horse Sales of Texas (Oldenburg, Hanoverian, RPSI).
